Staff of Cultist Lines

Staff of Cultist Lines
A dark ash-wood staff inlaid with twisted, silver filaments that trace the sigils of the Slanted Circle along its length. The filaments are not decoration — they are arcane circuitry. When charges flow, the silver lines briefly glow.

Lore
Mages of the Slanted Circle used this staff to draw ley lines into a single focal point, binding their rituals together in perfect alignment. The Shield/Absorb Elements casting capability is the staff defending the wielder against the very ley energies they’re channeling — the Circle’s mages were, in their own way, walking through the same dangers they invoked, and these staves were their shielding.
Whether the staff’s filaments are a precursor to the Shardcasters’ Fractal Crystal Focus is an interesting question. The same minds appear to have been refining ley-channeling tools across generations.
History
Recovered from the Vault of the Slanted Circle in Session 11.
